Crawford also proposes substituting pull-ups for the lat pulldown machine. The best course of action is still to perform assisted pull-ups. "Pull-ups are more useful and will engage more muscles. Compared to a lat pulldown, a pull-up requires far more of your core "She clarifies.
Crawford claims that while standard pushups are OK, hand-release pushups will activate the entire range of motion. "I observe a lot of folks performing pushups that stop short of the ground. Using a full range of motion is preferable because you'll gain strength more quickly "She clarifies.

Last but not least, do some walking lunges rather than using the stairmaster. Continually, Crawford "In comparison to the stair master, lunges will provide a wider range of motion,
engaging more muscles while maintaining the lower-body strength and glute work you're typically hoping to attain on the stair master. Lunges will improve your stair climbing ability, to put it another way. You're not necessarily skilled at lunges just because you can climb stairs."
