Chef-Recommended Fast-Food Burgers

It's easy to picture award-winning chefs eating multi-course meals on exquisite china. After feeding hundreds of people a night, many chefs seek the simplicity and quickness of fast-food burgers, and they all have their favourite.

McDonald's Executive Chef Nick Dixon of Boston's Capo Restaurant loves the Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese. "It's the best sandwich in the world!" he says. "I don't like sides since the burger is amazing.

Boston's Mida and Apizza owner Douglass Williams, a James Beard nominee, claims Wendy's junior bacon cheeseburger is his favourite fast food. "I remember creating it, touching the bun, taking delight in making it, and comprehending its simplicity more than eating it.
