"Sweetgreen uses as much local and organic as possible," Sabat says, recommending a 490-calorie harvest bowl at Sweetgreen. The fresh menu features farm-to-table vegetables, housemade dressings, and heart-healthy fats like avocado, nuts, seeds, and fish. Most salads are between 400 and 500 calories.
She says the 490-calorie lunch contains roasted sweet potatoes, chicken, brussels sprouts, kale, tomatoes, almonds, and balsamic vinaigrette "The chicken, veggies, vitamins, minerals, and almonds provide protein, fiber, vitamins, and healthy fats.
"This 470-calorie dinner has romaine lettuce, spinach, feta cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, artichokes, olives, roasted red peppers, and a Greek vinaigrette," she says.
