Zach Wilson will remain the starting quarterback for the New York Jets.
After suffering a defeat against the Cowboys in Week 2, the head coach of the New York Giants, Robert Saleh, stated on Monday that the team does not intend to bring in any other quarterbacks during this week.
During the game against the Cowboys on Sunday afternoon, Wilson threw several interceptions, which contributed to the team’s loss. In Week 2, the Jets were defeated on the road by the Dallas Cowboys by a score of 30-10.
But according to Saleh, the Jets are going to keep the young quarterback as their starting quarterback.
For the foreseeable future, the Jets will use Wilson as their starting quarterback at center position. There have been rumors that the Jets are interested in signing a veteran quarterback, but it appears that they are quite set for the time being.
In Week 3 of the regular season in 2023, New York is scheduled to play a game against New England.
